Woodland swept at Gordon Central

The Woodland Lady Cats and Wildcats dropped non-region basketball games Friday night at Gordon Central.

GORDON CENTRAL 49, WOODLAND GIRLS 22

Host Gordon Central led 9-7 after one quarter and added to the lead through the next two quarters en route to a 49-22 win over the Woodland Lady Cats on Friday night.

The Lady Warriors (2-1) led 23-9 at halftime and 43-14 through three quarters.

Woodland (0-4) plays Summit (Tenn.) on Monday at Gordon Central High School.
