Woodland boys fourth at TikTok Swim Classic

The Woodland High School swim team finished sixth in combined scores Saturday (Nov. 9) at the 19-team TikTok Classic, hosted at the Calhoun Aquatic Center.
The Woodland boys were fourth, and the Lady Cats were seventh, with Marist winning the combined team score title.
Calhoun had the top boys' score, with Marist taking the girls' top spot.

In the Swim for a Cause meet at the Cherokee County Aquatics Center earlier this season, Wildcats' team captain Grayson Moore qualified for the 2025 GHSA State Meet in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, and the boys' 200-yard freestyle relay events. Teammates Isaiah Muriel, Isaac Muriel, and Kadin Keith joined Moore in the relay.
Natalie Guin won the girls' butterfly. Emily Guin was second in the 50-yard freestyle, and Isaiah Muriel took second place in the 100-yard backstroke.
Woodland's girls' medley relay team (Ka'rynne McKenney, Natalie Guin, Peighton Young, and Emily Guin) finished second. The same group was second in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Woodland is scheduled for a meet at Calhoun on Thursday, November 21, and will host the Woodland Invitational at the Adairsville High Aquatics Center on Saturday, November 23.
