The Adairsville Tigers only needed three innings Thursday night to put away the visiting Ridgeland Panthers, 15-0, in the second game of their three-game Region 7-AAA series.


The Tigers dominated the Panthers' pitching with fourteen hits, capitalized on five walks, and exploited four errors to secure a run-rule victory. 


McCayden Hufstetler made the pitching start and completed all three frames on the mound. He scattered two hits and one walk with two strikeouts.


Harrison Cole (four RBI), Peyton Bowen (three RBI), Jarrett Scott (double, RBI), Isaac Burnett, and Hudson Parr had two hits. Jack Nelson (sac fly, two RBI), Braxton Ryan (two RBI), Ethan Long (RBI), and Brody Varner added one hit in the win.


The loss dropped Ridgeland to 7-7 overall and 0-5 in region play.


Adairsville (9-6, 4-4) wraps up the three-game series on Friday at Ridgeland.
