R.B. Clyburn of Cartersville is the GSGA's 2024 Men's Player of the Year

Cartersville golfer R.B. Clyburn was named the 2024 GSGA Men’s Player of the Year this week at ceremonies at the Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta and the inaugural Layne Williams Celebration of Champions Invitational.

Jackson Buchanan of Dacula finished runner-up in the Men’s Player of the Year race, followed by Jake Peacock of Milton.

Other local golfers in 2024 Player of the Year races included Christina Surcey (fourth in the Women’s Player of the Year), Chad Branton (fifteenth in the Men’s Senior), Charles Wilson (tied for 53rd in the Men’s Senior), and Randy Charles of Acworth (tied for 81st in the Men’s Super Senior).
