Monday's battle of Tigers goes to Adairsville volleyball

Adairsville volleyball won a straight sets decision Monday night at the Temple Tigers winning 26-24 and 25-11.

Jordan Hartline had five aces and a pair of kills for the local Tigers. Adysen Garvey finished with three aces and four kills. Addie Pearson totaled six assists and two blocks. Makenzie Harris and Mallory Kimbrel added a pair of blocks each and Sherry Wells contributed 14 digs.

The loss drops Temple to 9-16 on the season.

Adairsville improves to 7-13 with the non-region win. Adairsville plays Ringgold and Ridgeland on Tuesday night at Ringgold.
