Leberte/Clyburn win GSGA Four-Ball Championship

McLain Leberte of Roswell and R.B. Clyburn of Cartersville carded four-ball rounds of 65-64-65 (22-under-par) Friday through Sunday to win the 52nd Georgia Four-Ball Championship at Echelon Golf Club in Alpharetta.
The 80-team field competed on the 7,142-yard, par-72 championship course with 32 teams making the 36-hole cut to play in Sunday’s round.
Leberte and Clyburn finished two shots ahead of Brooks Colquitt and Cole Isban. They were four shots ahead of Keith Guest and Kyle Stiles of Athens.
Cartersville Country Club member Lee Bowman (Mariettta) and Shawn Higgins of Atlanta tied for fifth and were six shots back. Laine Frazier of Adairsville and his partner Collin Doss of Rome tied for 18th at 11-under par. Christian Raynor of Kennesaw and Chad Branton of Cartersville finished 27th at 7-under par.
Ryan Perry of Marietta and Greg Johnson of Cartersville missed the 36-hole cut with rounds of 70-68. Matt Green of Cartersville and partner Adam Yarbrough of Dallas shot 71-69.
