Lady Canes win at Adairsville

The Cartersville Lady Canes won at Adairsville Wednesday night in a non-region basketball game between the intra-county rivals.
Cartersville led 16-7 after the opening eight minutes and held leads of 25-20 and 37-28 at the end of the next two periods.
Zoe McCurry and KK Arnold led the Lady Canes in the scoring column with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Bayley Stanley added six points.
NaXyria Roberts scored 16 points for the Lady Tigers. Alivia Joslin and Lily Roberts finished with nine points.
Cartersville (11-8, 7-1) returns to Region 7-4A play Friday at Allatoona at 6 p.m.
Adairsville (9-9, 2-3) plays a Region 7-3A game Thursday night at 6 p.m. at Calhoun. The Lady Tigers then host region foe Gilmer on Friday night in a 7 p.m. tip.
