Lady Canes enter post-season play following Florida trip

Cartersville High’s volleyball team finished a trip to Florida on Thursday evening with a 3-1 loss at Boca Raton Christian.

After falling 25-22 in a close opening set, the Lady Canes won the second set 25-17 to even the match. The Blazers then won the third and fourth sets 25-18 and 25-14 to close out the match.

Cartersville went 2-2 on their trip against Florida competition. The Lady Canes beat Boca Raton and Cardinal Gibbons. Their other loss was to King’s Academy of West Palm Beach.

The Lady Canes head into post-season play as the regular season champion in Region 7-4A with a 25-11 mark.
