Colonels win Gordon Central quad meet

The Cass High boys track and field team won a quad meet Thursday evening and the Lady Colonels placed second in the competition held at Gordon Central High School.

The Colonels posted 131 points to finish well ahead of Gordon Central (69), Armuchee (28), and Murray County (18).

The host Lady Warriors outscored the Cass girls 77-53 with Armuchee (46) placing third and Murray County (43) fourth.
