Chargers top Titans to even conference mark

The Georgia Highlands College men's basketball team took down Central Georgia Tech 59-48 Wednesday night in Macon to notch their first conference win of the season.


GHC led 30-15 and kept pace in the second half to earn the victory.


Jordan Johnson led a balanced scoring attack with 11 points and added eight rebounds. Landen Williams and Josh Cooper added 10 points apiece for the Chargers.

The Chargers, now 1-1 in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Associaton standings and 9-5 overall, begin a four-game homestand on Saturday against East Georgia at 2 pm on the Floyd Campus.
