Canes top Calhoun and Woodland to win tri-match at CCC

On Tuesday, the Cartersville boys' golf team defeated Calhoun and Woodland in a nine-hole tri-match at Cartersville Country Club.
Cartersville totaled 149, followed by Calhoun with 162 and Woodland at 202.
Andrew Lutjens carded a 1-under-par 35 to lead the Hurricanes. He was followed by Reid Henson (37), Carter Rice (38), and Noah Pogue (39) in the scoring column.

Allatoona secured victory in the girls' quad match with a total score of 133, counting three scores. Calhoun took second place with 145, the Lady Canes came in third with 150, and Woodland finished fourth with 174.
Two freshmen, Addie Feuerbach (49) and Macie Mosteller (50), led the Cartersville girls.
The Lady Canes will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday at the Junior PGA Esther Cannizo event at Bentwater Golf Club.
The Canes will play in the Chris Kirk Classic at Eagle Watch on Tuesday and Round 2 of the North Georgia Invitational at The Farm on Thursday.
