The Cartersville High School track and field teams split squads on Friday sending athletes to the Woodstock Distance Carnival and the Friday Night Lights Invitational in Rome.

TIGERS 2ND AT COAHULLA CREEK QUAD MEET

The Adairsville High School boys’ track and field team finished second and the Lady Tigers were third on Thursday (March 27) at Coahulla Creek in a quad meet that also included North Murray and Ringgold.

The host Colts won the girls’ and boys’ meets. North Murray was second in the girls’ meet followed by Adairsville and Ringgold

The Adairsville boys finished seven points behind Coahulla Creek. Ringgold was third and North Murray was fourth.
