Canes' golf team tops Calhoun and Cedartown

The Cartersville boys golf team defeated Calhoun and Cedartown in a nine-hole tri-match Thursday at Field Ferry Golf Course in Calhoun. Noah Pogue and Carson Stanfield carded a 36 to pace the Hurricanes. Owen Dunn and Blake Lutjens followed with 40 and 43, respectively.

The Lady Canes tied Cedartown for the win, both teams beating Calhoun with a team score of 144. Sophie Kim shot 44 to lead the Lady Canes. Addie Feuerbach carded a 48, and Ginny Hackney shot 50.
