Chad Branton and Rusty Mosley carded rounds of 63-68 (13-under-par) this past weekend in windy conditions to win the 2025 MGA Four-Ball Invitational at Cartersville Country Club.
The duo, who finished runner-up in 2024, led two teams by six shots following Saturday’s opening round en route to a five-shot win over Trey Broome and Clayton Griffin (69-67). Lee Bowman and Shawn Higgins (70-68) finished third. Taylor Dorner and Mike Hefner (72-68) placed fourth.
Robert Brooks and Paul Wielage (69-67) won the Senior 65+ Gold Flight by three shots over David McGinnis and Dennis Bush (72-67). Os Hillman and Ron Hunter (72-71) were third at 1-under par.
Dave Coleman and Charles Wilson (72-67) won Players Flight 1, finishing ahead of Hal Lamb and Rick Bown (71-69). Scott Davenport and Mike Cromer (70-72) finished third.
Ryan Hulton and Justin McMasters (69-67) cruised to a nine-shot win in Players Flight 2. Alex Jones and Donny Mixon (71-74) were second, followed by Hunter Clary and Jay Rhoten (73-75).
In Players Flight 3, Stephen Hopkins and Curt Jolly (73-70) won by three shots over Kevin Parker and Steve Stewart (71-75). David Kellogg and Brody Grinnell (76-71) placed third.
Ron Harris and Randy Foster (70-79) won Players Flight 4 by four shots ahead of Steven Hickman and Lee Mitchell (77-76). Mike Ross and Shannon Wehunt (79-79) placed third.
The annual tournament included 164 players (82 teams).
