Bowman, Stauch finish second at GSGA Four-Ball Championship

Lee Bowman of Cartersville Country Club and his partner Matt Stauch of Atlanta finished runner-up at the 2025 Georgia State Golf Association Four-Ball Championship Tournament, which was played at Doublegate Country Club in Albany this past weekend.
The par-72 layout played at 7,024 yards.
The Bowman/Stauch duo carded rounds of 65-65-61 — 191 (25-under par) and finished runner-up to David Denham of Athens and Dalton Melnyk of Atlanta, who shot 27-under par to claim the title.
R.B. Clyburn of Cartersville and Nate Gahman of Albany tied for eighth place with rounds of 68-66-63.
Laine Frazier of Adairsville and Adam Yarbrough of Dallas tied for 22nd place, recording rounds of 68-68-69.
Tevis Upton of Cartersville Country Club and Luke Upton missed the 36-hole cut with a 1-under par total after shooting 73-70.
