Adairsville volleyball drops first round match in region tourney

Adairsville volleyball lost its opening round match of the Region 6-AAA tournament Thursday night at Ringgold, 25-12, 25-12.

Jenna Claire Hendley had five kills for Adairsville. Addie Pearson followed with four kills and added five assists. Cara Harp contributed three assists and one dig while Sherry Wells totaled eight digs in the loss.

Adairsville (10-23) falls to the loser’s bracket of the double-elimination tournament where they will face Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (16-20) in their next match on Saturday afternoon.
