Adairsville softball drops a one-run decision at Northwest Whitfield

The Adairsville Lady Tigers softball team lost their opening region game with Northwest Whitfield at Westside Park in Rocky Face on Monday, 4-3.

Lily Roberts, Ashlynn Durden, and Riley Mounger had a single and an RBI. Alivia Joslin's triple was Adairsville's only extra-base hit. Taylor Evans, Joslin, and Naxyria Roberts scored the only Lady Tiger runs.

Maddie Baggett pitched the complete game in the loss, surrendering three earned runs on eleven hits and one walk while striking out two.

Adairsville continues regional play at 5:55 on Tuesday at home against Calhoun.
