Adairsville, Cartersville, and Woodland boys' tennis teams fall in the Sweet Sixteen round

The Adairsville, Cartersville, and Woodland boys’ tennis teams had their seasons end Monday and Tuesday in the second round of the GHSA state playoffs.

The Tigers lost 3-0 Monday at Hebron Christian in the Class 3A tournament. The Hurricanes suffered a 3-0 loss Tuesday at Dellinger Park to Chattahoochee and the Wildcats lost 3-0 at Cambridge.

In Class 3A, Hebron Christian advances to meet Savannah Country Day in the state quarterfinals.

In Class 5A, Chattahoochee will travel to Statesboro and Cambridge will visit Union Grove in the state quarterfinals.
