All-Bartow County Softball Team announced by DTN
The softball future in Bartow County certainly looks bright! Woodland not only won a second consecutive Bartow County Championship, but the Lady Cats qualified for the Class AAAAA state playoffs for a fourth straight season and reached the Round of 16 before falling to Whitewater to finish the year with a 21-12 mark. Cartersville finished with a 14-13 season record, but along with Cass and Adairsville missed the state playoffs. There were very few seniors on local rosters in 2019, however, and the large number of returning players for next season should strengthen the results for all four teams.
