October 19
12U at Calhoun Recreation
CARTERSVILLE HURRICANES (Ezell) 1, CALHOUN COLTS 0
After the two teams battled to a scoreless tie, Hurricanes (Ezell) won the game in overtime on penetration. Asa Mitcham had the one-yard carry that secured the win. Preston Sorrels rushed for 86 yards. Rhys Neal and Sorrells were the top defenders for Hurricanes (Ezell). Miles Mays had an interception and a fumble recovery for Calhoun. Chapel Parr also had a fumble recovery.
8U at Cass High School / Cochran Stadium
CASS COLONELS BLUE 22, CASS COLONELS GOLD 12
William Nachtsheim rushed for 162 yards including touchdown runs of 70, 58, and 21 yards. He added a two-point PAT run. Jaylen Thompson added a two-point PAT run for Colonels Blue. Nachtshiem and Caleb Johnson had eight tackles each for the Colonels Blue defense. Thompson had a pair of tackles and recovered a fumble. Rob Castle had 86 rushing yards for Colonels Gold and scored on touchdown runs of 18 and 11 yards. Walker Harris, who led the Colonels Gold defense with five tackles, contributed 24 rushing yards. Ezra Banks and Zane Waits added three tackles each.
10U at Cass High School / Cochran Stadium
CASS COLONELS GOLD 13, WOODLAND WILDCATS 6
Channings Briggs rushed for 55 total yards and had a 52 yard touchdown run for Colonels Gold. Kasey Jacobs scored on a 43 yard run. Austin Hensley added a one-point PAT run. Nicholas Robinson led the Colonels Gold defense with four stops. Thomas Duncan had two tackles and one interception. Jake Johnson also had two tackles and recovered a fumble for Cass Gold. Woodland scored on a 36 yard run by Connor Corbin. He finished with 50 rushing yards. Jahkoree Gainor contributed 42 yards rushing. Brantley Parker finished with eight tackles for the Wildcats. Jake Prince and Brenlee Smith finished with four and three tackles, respectively.
CASS COLONELS BLUE 25, CASS COLONELS SILVER 6
Jacobian Sturgis scored two touchdowns for Colonels Blue on runs of 40 and 29. He finished with 75 yards rushing. Giovanni Banks had 91 yards rushing and a 14 yard touchdown run. Walker Cuprowski scored on a 12 yard run and Hayden Pinyan added a one-point PAT run for Colonels Blue. On defense, Demontre Cochran finished with four tackles. Cuprowski had three tackles and recovered a fumble. Lukas Blackwell also added three tackles and one interception. Colonels Silver scored on a 27 yard run by Connor Harstook. Jermiah Sturdivant, who led the defense with five tackles, finished with 67 rushing yards on offense. Hayden Oliver and Devin Ware had three tackles each.

CASS COLONELS 46, CALHOUN HURRICANES 6
Cayden Aleman had 88 yards rushing for Cass including touchdown runs of 60 and nine yards. Paul Lanier had a 37 yard touchdown run. Joseph Thorne had a 12 yard touchdown run, and Shawn Wiseman added a five-yard touchdown run. On defense, Aleman had a 90-yard fumble recovery touchdown and three tackles. Levi Renfro and Zeke Helton both contributed three tackles and a fumble recovery each.

12U at Cunningham Stadium / Grassdale Rd.
WOODLAND WILDCATS 18, CARTERSVILLE HURRICANES (Ezell) 8
Tre’Shaun Winters rushed for 125 yards with touchdown runs of 47 and five yards for the Wildcats. Gavin Johnson contributed 107 yards rushing including a 63 yard touchdown run in the win.
