Canes, Colonels finish 1-2 at Gordon Central five-team meet; Lady Canes second
The Cartersville and Cass boys track and field teams finished first and second respectively, while the Cartersville girls were second in a five-way meet Thursday at Gordon Central High School in Calhoun. Cartersville won the boys meet with 129 points. Cass was second with 99 and host Gordon Central was third with 70 points. Sonoraville won the girls meet with 100 points. Cartersville tied Gordon Central for second with 90 points. The Cass girls were fifth with 18 points. Event winners from Cartersville and Cass:
