Adairsville girls sweep singles lines to defeat Trion; Tigers fall to Bulldogs
In a pair of closely contested matches, the Adairsville girls and boys tennis teams split with Trion Wednesday at the Rome City Courts. The Lady Tigers won all three singles lines for a 3-2 victory, but the Tigers suffered a 3-2 loss with their wins coming at both Line 1 singles and doubles.

The Adairsville girls improved to 6-5 overall and are 4-4 in Region 6-AAA. They await their seeding position and their first round opponent for the region tournament that begins April 9 at Calhoun.
The Adairsville boys are now 5-6 overall and 4-4 in Region 6-AAA. They will learn their seeding position and region tournament first round opponent by the end of the week.
