Cass soccer teams fall to East Paulding

The Cass girls and boys soccer teams dropped Region 7-AAAAA matches Tuesday night at home against East Paulding. The Lady Colonels were edged 5-4. The Colonels fell 2-1.

Leido Toribio scored two goals for the Lady Colonels on assists from Logan Vermaas and Lupita Pineda. Vermaas scored the third Cass goal on another assist from Pineda and Jaden Musacchio added the final Lady Colonels score off a feed from Maddie Shook.

The Cass boys lost to the visiting Raiders 2-1. Alex Cabanas scored the only Colonels’ goal off an assist from Slomi Orozco.

The Lady Colonels are now 3-5-1 overall and 1-3 in region play.

The Colonels slipped to 2-6 overall and 0-3 in the region. Cass travels to Hiram Friday evening.
