Cass wrestling second at Buford Invitational
The Cass High School wrestling team finished second Saturday at the Buford Takedown Sportswear Tournament hosted by Buford High School. The host Wolves won the 30-team event with 247.5 points. Cass was next with 172.5. West Laurens (171), Indian Land HS (SC) (160.5) and Rockdale County (154.5) rounded out the top five teams. Ben Mills (photo) won the 132-pound division for the Colonels. Bryce Kresho had a second place finish and Noah Hoffmeier added a third place for Cass in their respective weight classes. Other placers for Cass included: Nick Mills and Kendall Arnold fourth, Isaac Linley, Blake Carrington, and Reed Davis fifth. Hunter Rees added a sixth place finish.
