THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4
10U at Hamilton Crossing Park
BARTOW STEELERS 24, BARTOW RAIDERS 8 STEELERS: Kyron McClendon had a 40-yard touchdown run and returned a fumble recovery 50 yards for a touchdown. Malachi Harris added a five-yard touchdown run. Jayden Metcalf had seven tackles. McClendon and Harris added six tackles each.
RAIDERS: Iziah Burgs scored on a six-yard run. K.J. Smith had four tackles.
BARTOW TIGERS 18, CARTERSVILLE SILVER CANES 14
TIGERS: Jaden Daise scored on runs of 15- and 5-yards. Richard Barton had a 15-yard touchdown run. Daise had seven tackles. Markaveous Diamond and Clay Hilburn added five tackles each. Wyatt Earwood had an interception. SILVER: Jaylon Watkins scored on a 35-yard run. Tyon Coe had a six-yard touchdown run. Kayden Foley had five tackles.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6
10U at Cedartown Rec CEDARTOWN BULLDOGS 28, CARTERSVILLE SILVER CANES 8
SILVER: Jaylon Watkins finished with 109 rushing yards and had a 60-yard touchdown run. Tyon Coe, Cooper Melvin and Cannon Phillips were also leading rushers. Melvin had seven tackles. Zeke Price added six tackles. Hagen Sharp picked off a pass.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9
8U at Hamilton Crossing Park
CARTERSVILLE PURPLE CANES 27, BARTOW STEELERS 0
PURPLE: Jaiden Taylor had a pair of 15-yard touchdown runs. Roger Archer scored touchdowns on 15- and 12-yard runs. Wright Upton had seven tackles. Henry Abernathy had six tackles.
STEELERS: Nathaniel Jones rushed for 78 yards and had six tackles on defense. Collin Armona collected five tackles.
10U at Hamilton Crossing Park
CARTERSVILLE PURPLE CANES 49, BARTOW BUCS 6
PURPLE: Pyerston Bingham had three rushing touchdowns scoring from 60-, 50-, and 45-yards. Dixon Lindsey threw two touchdown passes. One from 30-yards and the other from 8-yards - both to Clint Hosea. Zachary Stiles ran for two touchdowns from 21- and 10-yards. Bingham had nine tackles. Lindsey had seven tackles. Dakari Young had five tackles.
BUCS: Paul Lanier passed for 79 yards and Dawson Holbrook scored on a five-yard run. Holbrook, Hixson Hullander, and Gabriel Willingham had six tackles each.
