12U Softball
at Alto Park - Rome
Bartow County 12U defeated Dalton Tuesday night in the opening round, 11-2.
Chelsea Bates tossed a complete-game three hitter for Bartow and was 2-for-3 at the plate. Kylie Perine was also 2-for-3 and Kelsey Gleason drove in a pair of runs with a 2-for-2 performance at the plate.
Bartow County 12U will play Rome in the second round Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at Alto Park.
10U Baseball
Bartow County 2 Gordon County 0 at Calhoun Park
Kaiden Coker tripled and scored a first inning run for Bartow County 10U. Jaden Daise scored the second run in the fourth inning following his single.
Landon Lamb added a triple, Evan Hardin contributed a double, and Drew Nida had one hit for Bartow County 10U.
Bartow advances to a second round game Wednesday at 7 p.m. to play Calhoun. Calhoun defeated Whitfield County Tuesday night, 9-4.
