Lady Canes win, Hurricanes second at Gordon Central quad-meet

Competing in a quad meet at Gordon Central High School Thursday evening, the Cartersville High School girls track and field team defeated Gordon Central, Ringgold, and Model to win the tune-up meet for the region championship meets.

The Canes finished second in the boys meet behind host Gordon Central but ahead of Ringgold and Model.
