BCRD 10U boys win GRPA District 5 title
A pair of Bartow County Parks and Recreation youth boys basketball teams played in GRPA District 5 Championship games Thursday night with the 10U Bartow boys winning the title.
10U Boys BARTOW 47, WHITFIELD CO. 34
Bartow defeated Whitfield County to win the GRPA District 5 Title and secure a spot in the GRPA State Tournament March 2nd and 3rd in Griffin.
Jakez Baldwin led Bartow with 12 points. Kyron McClendon also reached double digits with 10 points. Jakai Baldwin scored nine and Jarrett Scott eight.
8U Boys ROME 24, BARTOW 8
Rome defeated Bartow County to win the District 5 Championship and advance to the State Tournament.
Dustin McConnell led Bartow with three points. Lance Tippett added two points in the loss.
