Moss wins two events at Metro Invite

The Adairsville swim team tied for 17th in combined scores and the Lady Tigers were 11th in the girls’ team rankings Saturday at the 48th Metro Swimming and Diving Invitational hosted by Westminster School in Atlanta.

Host Westminster won the championship with Milton, North Atlanta, Roswell, and Woodward Academy rounding out the top five places. The event included more than 30 schools.

Cass and Woodland also participated in the invitational, but did not register team points.

Adairsville junior Rylee Moss won the girls 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:12.32 and the 100 yard butterfly in 1:00.09.
