Lawrence is AJC Offensive POY; Root, Johns, Cruz, and Frye also honored

Cartersville High School quarterback Trevor Lawrence was named Offensive Player of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Clemson signee, was joined on the Class AAAA All-State Team by Canes' teammates offensive lineman Nick Root, linebacker JaCorey Johns, and kicker Jonathan Cruz. Cartersville running back Rico Frye was All-State Honorable Mention. Full listing for all classifications:
