Cass wrestling splits squad to place second at Woodstock Invitational and third at North Atlanta Inv

With a quality performance at two different tournaments, the Cass High School wrestling team picked up trophies at two different tournament Saturday.
Cass placed second at the Woodstock Invitational and third at the North Atlanta Invitational.
At the Woodstock tournament, Tripp Breeden won the 220-pound division while Derrick Smith (113-pounds), Nick Mills (126), Kendall Arnold (145), and Rett Moore (170) each finished second.
Tyler Pilcher (132) was placed third at Woodstock. Noah Hoffmeier (160) placed fifth. Alex Depasquale (152), Kameron Depasquale (138), and Jake Johnson (106) each finished sixth.
Sonoraville won the Woodstock Invitational. Creekview was third and North Paulding fourth in the team standings.
Ben Mills won the 126-pound division at the North Atlanta tournament to lead the Colonels at that event. Blake Carrington (152) earned a runner-up spot. Andrew Ferrell (120) and Beau Smith (170) each placed third. Adan Urizar picked up a fourth place finish.
Cass will be back on the mats Wednesday with a home match against North Hall.
