Cartersville volleyball opens state playoffs at home Thursday vs. Chestatee

Cartersville volleyball won the Region 5-AAAA championship for the second straight season last Thursday at the Storm Center and will also host the opening round of the Class AAAA state playoffs this Thursday.

The Lady Canes, No. 1 seed from Region 5-AAAA will face Chestatee, the No. 4 seed from Region 7-AAAA. The match will start at 5:30 p.m.

Chestatee enters the state playoffs with a 13-26 season record. Cartersville is 26-3.
