SHGA / AMG Update: Two top tens on WEB.com Tour, Every cracks top 15 at Canadian Open
Kyle Thompson was runner-up and Matt Atkins finished tied for eighth this past weekend at the WEB.com Tour's Digital Ally Open in Overland Park, Kansas while Matt Every finished tied for 14th at the PGA Tour's RBC Canadian Open.
Those finishes were tops among players affiliated with Cartersville Country Club's Scott Hamilton Golf Academy and/or Athletic Motion Golf.
Hudson Swafford, Ben Crane, Scott Stallings, and Chris Kirk were all among SHGA/AMG players making the cut at the Canadian Open. Casey Wittenberg earned a check at the Digital Ally Open.
On the PGA Tour Champions, SHGA player Joe Durant will defend his title this week at the 3M Championship in Blaine, Minnesota. Durant withdrew from the Senior Open Championship last week in Wales, UK after opening with an 82.
