SHGA / AMG Update: Four make weekend cuts
Charles Howell III, fresh off a playoff loss the week before on the PGA Tour, shot three, 1-under 69s and an even par 70 this week at The Greenbrier Classic to finish tied for 45th.
He was one of three players affiliated with Scott Hamilton Golf Academy and/or Athletic Motion Golf to make the cut this past week in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Scott Stallings and Hudson Swafford were the other two SHGA/AMG players to play on the weekend. They both tied for 58th with even-par 72-hole totals.
Seven other SHGA/AMG players missed the cut at The Greenbrier, including Chris Kirk, Ben Crane, Bobby Wyatt, Boo Weekley, Steven Bowditch, Matt Every, and Jason Bohn.
Brooke Pancake of SHGA/AMG shot 6-under-par at the LPGA Tour's Thornberry Creek Classic in Wisconsin. Pancake tied for 63rd with rounds of 67-73-73-69.

All four SHGA/AMG players on the WEB.com Tour last weekend missed the 36-hole cut despite three of the four shooting under par. Kyle Thompson, Casey Wittenberg, Chris Wilson, and Matt Atkins will look to get back on trek this week.
Elsewhere, the PGA Champions Tour had the week off. SHGA-player Joe Durant continued his steady play and his rise in the season-long Schwab Cup standings.
Durant tied for 12th at the U.S. Senior Open July 29-July 2 with a 3-under-par total (66-67-73-71) at Salem Country Club in Massachusetts. The finish moved him up two spots on the Charles Schwab Cup Money List to 16th.
