Seigler selected for Tournament of Stars at USA Baseball National Training Complex
Cartersville High School’s Anthony Seigler is one of 80 high school players selected for the national scouting showcase Tournament of Stars that begins Tuesday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, NC.
The elite player event continues through Saturday, July 1.
Seigler, a rising senior and Auburn University commit, is listed as a 5-11, 200-pound catcher, left-hand pitcher, and right-hand pitcher on the roster of selected players. His rare ability to pitch from either side and skill set to play all nine positions makes him unique among the nation’s elite talents.

According to the Baseball America website, the 80 players will be divided into four teams — Pride, Brave, United, and Free — for showcase games Tuesday through Thursday. Final events on Friday and Saturday include skills testing and measurements, a home run derby, plus bronze and gold medal games.
