Canes compete in USA Football 7on7 Regional at LakePoint
Cartersville High School football is competing in the USA Football 7-on-7 Regional Qualifier at LakePoint Sporting Community in Emerson Friday.
Varsity teams are divided into two pools and are guaranteed five pool play games prior to Saturday's championship bracket.
Championship begins in the afternoon with the tournament continuing through the finals at 5 pm and an awards ceremony to follow.
The Cartersville 9th graders are in the JV / 9th grade pool. Cartersville’s varsity will compete in Pool B.
Other participating schools include: Walton, Kell, Mountain View, South Forsyth, Cherokee, North Cobb, Greater Atlanta Christian, Blessed Trinity, Whitefield Academy, Collins Hill, Lassiter, Kennesaw Mountain, North Paulding, Trinity Christian, Ridgeland, Jefferson County, and Community Christian.
