Beasley takes No. 40 spot on NFL's Top 100 Players list

Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Vic Beasley of Adairsville has been selected for the No. 40 spot on the NFL Top 100 Players list.

The former Adairsville Tiger and Clemson All-American is the reigning NFL sack leader with 15.5 sacks is 2016 as the Falcons surged to an NFC Championship title and reached the Super Bowl.

Beasley is the second Falcon to make the list that includes running back Devonta Freeman. Freeman was voted one spot up from Beasley at No. 41. In 2016, Freeman was ranked No. 50.

The top 30 are yet to be revealed by NFL Network.
