NW Georgia Rookie, Sandlot Little League tourneys revise schedules following Sunday rain
Tournament games for the Little League Baseball Northwest Georgia Section Tournaments were postponed Sunday and revised tournament schedules have been released by Georgia Little League.
Cartersville Little League has two teams currently in action in Northwest Georgia Section Tournaments.
The Cartersville 7/8-year-old Rookie Team is in the Northwest Georgia Section Tournament at Smyrna Little League and the Cartersville 8/9-year-old Sandlot Team is hosting the Northwest Georgia Section Tournament at Joe Frank Harris Field in Atco.
Both Cartersville teams are 1-0 in their respective pools. The Cartersville Rookie team defeated Peachtree City 21-3 Saturday and the Cartersville Sandlot team defeated East Marietta National, 10-7.
