Bartow County Little League Opening Day ceremonies and results
Bartow County Little League held its 2017 Opening Day Ceremonies Saturday at Hamilton Crossing Park.
Although Bartow County has held a Little League Softball charter for several years and was a Little League Baseball organization in the 1970s and 80s, this season marks the return of Little League Baseball affiliation for Bartow.

Cubs 6, Mets 5
Cubs were led by Colton Tucker who was 1-for-1 (triple) with a walk. Winning pitcher was Gareth Kincannon. He pitched 3 innings and struck out 5. Mets were led by Jordan Durham who went 1-for-2.
Orioles 6, Tigers 0
Orioles were led by Tyler Driggers at the plate. He was 1-for-2 with a triple. Tyler Driggers, Braden Powell, and Austin Phillips combined for a no hitter.
Giants 13, Rangers 6
Giants were led by Evan Sanders who went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple. Winning pitcher for the Giants was Andrew Stiles. Rangers were led by Cameron Constantine who went 1-for-1 with a single and a walk.
A's 10, Twins 4
A's were led by Brayden Butler who finished the day 2-for-2. Winning pitcher for the A's was Robert Mitchell.
Braves 13, Cardinals 1
Braves were led by Brice Craig who went 2-for-2 with two home runs and a walk. Winning pitcher was Mason Williams for the Braves.
