Cartersville tennis teams blank Central-Carrollton
The Cartersville High School tennis teams shutout Central-Carrollton Tuesday night in near freezing temperatures without dropping a single set. Both the Lady Canes and Hurricanes won 5-0 in Region 5AAAA matches.

Line 3 — Ansley Thompson won 6-1, 6-0

Line 1 — Taylor Riddle / Jordan Ross won 6-2, 7-5
Line 2 — Allyson Ireland / Lydia Wiedetz won 6-4, 6-1
Lady Canes improve to 5-3 overall and are now 2-0 in Region 5AAAA.
