Cartersville High School QB Lawrence remains Rivals' No. 1 for 2018
Five star quarterback Trevor Lawrence of Cartersville High School remains the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2018 according to the latest release by Rivals.com.
Lawrence (6-5, 200) has led the Canes to back-to-back state titles as a sophomore and a junior and 30 consecutive wins.
Defensive back Patrick Surtain (American Heritage; Plantation, FL; 6-2, 183) is next on the list, followed by defensive end Xavier Thomas (IMG Academy; Bradenton, FL; 6-3, 255), offensive lineman Jackson Carman (Fairfield HS; Fairfield OH; 6-6, 305), and defensive end Micah Parsons (Harrisburg HS; Harrisburg, PA; 6-3, 235).
The next highest rated Georgia player in the Class of 2018 is offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer (Pace Academy; Atlanta, GA; 6-4, 305)
