Local girls soccer teams fall to non-region opponents
The Cass, Woodland, and Cartersville girls soccer teams each lost non-region games Friday night.
SPRAYBERRY GIRLS 4, CASS 0
The Cass girls soccer team lost to visiting Sprayberry Friday night 4-0.
Sprayberry scored two goals in each half in their win.
The Lady Colonels had quality shots from Brittney Ochoa, Kelsey Rivera, and Stephanie Robledo that hit the crossbar, but failed to score.
Sprayberry improved to 3-1 on the season.
Cass (2-3) plays at Carrollton Tuesday at 6pm to open region play in 7AAAAA.
CHAPEL HILL GIRLS 10, WOODLAND 1
The Woodland girls soccer team lost at Chapel Hill Friday night, 10-1.
Chapel Hill improved to 5-0 with the win.
The Lady Cats (0-3-1) play a Region 7AAAAA contest at Paulding County Tuesday at 5:30pm.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 4, CARTERSVILLE 1
The Cartersville girls soccer team lost to visiting Chestatee Friday night, 4-1.
LaShun Williams scored the Lady Canes' goal of a deflected shot by Chloe Davis.
Chestatee improved to 3-2-1 with the win.
The Lady Canes (3-1) host Northwest Whitfield Tuesday at 5:30pm.
