Special send off for Canes Saturday morning

The Cartersville High School football team will be headed to the Georgia Dome for the Class AAAA State Championship game Saturday morning and they are asking you to join them for a special send off.

The football team will participate in a Canes’ Walk at 11:45am leaving from the school, to Church Street, to Main Street, to I-75.

Come out and cheer on the Canes as they hit the road for their trip to the Dome. Bring your signs, shakers, noisemakers, and line the streets to show your support.

The state championship game with undefeated Thomson is scheduled for 4:30pm.

Cartersville (14-0) has won 29 straight games and the Hurricanes are the defending Class AAAA state champions.
