The event raised funds for the Adairsville High School and Adairsville Middle School Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
According to AHS Athletic Director Meredith Barnhill, the event included a dozen teams in a double-elimination format.
"All the funds we raised from spectator ticket sales and team entry fees are going to the AHS/AMS FCA programs," said Barnhill. "All the participants received a t-shirt and a barbeque plate. We had team trophies and medals. Hats for the champions. It was a great day."
The North Georgia Heat won the tournament.
Barnhill added that the 3rd annual event will be held in June 2017. The plan is to have an adult division as well as a high school division.
