North Georgia youth football jamboree set for September 3

The North Georgia Youth Football Jamboree will be hosted at Sonoraville Recreation Complex on Saturday, September 3. The event is open to any team, but has been established in cooperation with five area recreation program according to event organizer, Chad Haygood.

"Five recreation programs will be represented so far," said Haygood. "Bartow County, Gordon County, Calhoun, Rome/Floyd County, and Murray County are the departments included although the event is open to any team outside these recreation programs."

2016 North Georgia Youth Football Jamboree Team Entry Fee: Free Date: Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 Where: Sonoraville Recreation Complex Address: 7674 HWY 53, Calhoun, GA 30701 Age Groups: 8U, 10U, & 12U (September 1 age control date) Format: 3 Mini – Games with 15 minute offensive period and 15 minute defensive period. No special teams. 5 minute break between periods, 35 minute break between games.
