Middle School volleyball registration deadline extended

The Bartow County Recreation Department has extended its deadline for girls, middle school volleyball league signups through August 26.

The league is for girls in grades 6-8 and teams are formed based on the school attended.

The purpose is to familiarize players with their eventual high school programs.

The registration fee is $70 and the league runs August through October.

All games are played at the old Cass High School gym on Grassdale Road. Coaches are NYSCA certified. Players receive shorts and jerseys.
