Cartersville LL 9/10 all-star team advances to state tourney

The Cartersville Little League 9/10 all-star team won the 2016 District 1 championship and earned a spot in the Georgia state tournament.

Cartersville is scheduled to open the Georgia Little League state tournament against District 8 winner, Northern Little League, at 1pm on Saturday, July 9.

The 9/10 state tournament will be hosted by East Marietta Little League July 9-16. The tournament field will consist of seven district champions.
