Wildcats lose to Sprayberry
The Woodland boys soccer team lost 9-3 to visiting Sprayberry Tuesday night. The Cats got off to a fast start, scoring in the games first minute and again in the first ten minutes to lead 2-0. Both goals were scored by sophomore, Levi Brandenburg. The visiting Yellow Jackets then reeled off four unanswered goals to lead 4-2 at the half. Sprayberry scored goals in the 49th minute and again with 25 minutes remaining to take a 6-2 advantage. Woodland interrupted the Sprayberry streak of six goals with a goal by Grant Quick in the 59th minute. The Yellow Jackets went on the score three more goals for a 9-3 final score.
Woodland (0-13) plays at Coosa Thursday (5:30pm) and at Kell Friday (6pm).
