Early runs edge Adairsville
Ringgold pitcher Devin Lancaster tossed a complete game, three-hitter, and Ringgold’s offense scored three runs early to defeat Adairsville Tuesday night, 3-1, in a Region 6-AAA battle of two different Tigers teams at Adairsville.
Ringgold (9-4 overall, 4-0 in 6-AAA) took a 3-0 lead after two innings and Lancaster’s pitching performance made the lead stand up, allowing only one, sixth inning run while striking out a dozen and allowing no walks.
