Woodland girls, Cass boys runner up in Battle at Barron

The track and field teams from Adairsville, Cass, and Woodland competed Friday in the Battle at Barron meet at historic Barron Stadium in Rome.

The Rome High School girls (251 pts.) won the meet, followed by Woodland (117), Cass (108), and Adairsville (30).

The Rome boys (277.5 points) also won the event, followed by Cass (181.5), Woodland (109), and Adairsville (30).
